I can relate to all of this a lot, especially when it comes to my blog as I’ve really been struggling with it recently. At times couldn’t put a finger on it and wanted to quit blogging at one point. We often get caught up thinking about the far future, which has yet to come and can change day by day through our actions. Point is – we shouldnt judge our future based on the present.

Lovely write up Becky – look forward to reading more 🙂

I am very much also most of the time thinking about the future and where i want to be and putting myself down about where i am right now. The first thing thats important to do is really work out what it is that you want – and make sure you want it for you. Then work this goal backwards and create a plan on how you are going to get there. When you break down a big goal it is so much easier to believe its achieveable and know that it is possible to achieve. After you know what you want, make a decision – dont make excuses – just do it! This year I decided to book a flying lesson – just because its something that i have always wanted to try. And then next year I set off in May to America for over 40days on a group tour. Something i have thought about for so long but always made an excuse. Life is happening now – lets just concentrate on living the present moment to the fullest.

Lovely post – great read <3

Wow that is so cool! I would never be brave enough to fly anything, let alone a plane (haha). I am so glad you took the plunge to live in the moment and do exactly what you wanted to do! Life will reward us so greatly when we decide to do things like that. I also really like your idea about working a goal backwards to make it acheivable. That is a really great idea!

First off, I love your outfit. This post is so helpful, I tend to get caught up and so many different things that taking a step away to truly appreciate what and who I have in my life is really important. Can’t wait to read more of your posts

Thank you! I’ve shared similar outfit options on Shop Style :). And I totally agree! Appreciation for what we have is so important. I am so bad for forgetting to count my blessings. But when I do, boy does it feel good! Thanks for reading!

I wish people were a bit more happy with everything – I myself am guilty of not being happy and thankful for the things around me. I think a what I am happy about jar would be good for some people
