Making myself a priority is something I really struggle with. I always put other people ahead of me, and it’s been really tough. Recently, I’ve been working on making myself my own priority, and while it’s been difficult, it’s been totally worth it. Great post xxx

Thanks love! I am so happy to hear you are making that decision for yourself. It’s so worth it, you are totally right! Thanks for reading!

If that’s the way you felt, that’s your prerogative! Totally okay even, if that’s how you were seeing it. But there’s a kind way to do it, and cheating on your fiancé (who treated you like gold) with a guy he used to play hockey with isn’t it. 👎🏼

I am so sorry you felt the need to hide behind a computer screen veil to say this! If you have a problem with me, lets address it head on. Lets NOT make up silly lies just to feed your moral high ground you so effortlessly stand on, though. I actually left my Fiance because I wasn’t in love with him. Whom I fell in love with AFTER, is quite frankly nobodies business. I can’t help that he tells people I cheated to make his situation look better. That’s HIS prerogative! Totally okay even, if thats how he was seeing it… But there was a kinder way to do it. See what I did there? 🙂

Have a fabulous day, internet stranger (whom I most likely know, but was too scared to just text or message me!) And remember, take all this hateful energy you used today and use it towards something GOOD! Be kinder to the next person you talk to, or just generally use your energy to try and do something positive instead.

Wow, this really hit close to home for me. I really need to take a leap of faith with my life decisions. It’s so scary but I need to tell myself that I CAN DO IT! Thanks for a great post!

It’s so important to remember this, I find it so easy to get ‘trapped’ into helping others and living for others that we forget to live for ourselves and to put ourselves first. I Always do this when I’m in a Relationship, I love my partner so much that I do everything for them and lose myself in the process. Hopefully that won’t happen again! x

I have been there girl! But I can hoestly say it feels SO good to be able to put myself first for once. I really can feel the difference in the level of happiness in my life. I’m dating someone new, but they are always reminding me to make myself number one! And it’s something I really appreciate.
