A Little Bit About Me:
Hi there, and welcome to my site! Thank you so much for visiting!
I became interested in blogging very recently, in fact I only started it in September of 2017. I needed a creative outlet, and I was seeking something to dive into head first. I usually don’t do things any other way. I had a nagging urge to write and share what i was thinking with like-minded people, and was desperately looking for an outlet to do just that. I’m starting this blog as a personal hobby, but I see it becoming so much more than that. I am still learning so much about blogging – doing research, attempting to understand HTML coding, brainstorming future blog ideas (I have a lot to say apparently). I have to admit, there may be some bumps along the way; – I just started, please be gentle! – but I plan to share all the knowledge this great big world has given me! From personal stories about love and friendship, to the places I’ve visited, beauty tips, or what I’ve been wearing recently, I plan to share it all. It’s going to get real, and it’s going to get personal so sit down, get comfy, and prepare yourself to learn about my life. Okay? Okay. Now that we’ve gotten the formalities out-of-the-way, let me tell you a little bit about myself!
Who am I?
Well, when I am not blogging and creating new looks, I’ve found that I absolutely love cooking (or creating) a new recipe, pursuing my photography business, or visiting with my family. Personal health (both mental and physical) is really important to me, so I try to stay active every other day and eat as well as I can, for the most part! I respect my body so much and I truly do try to take really good care of it. However, I am a total foodie and I also love to indulge in amazing meals! I love pastas, sauces, anything flavorful and savory really. I like sweets sometimes – but I am all about that “dinnertime” food!
I recently moved into my own place, it’s so cute, it’s totally mine and I’ve honestly never loved anything more. Living on your own is absolutely amazing! After a major heartbreak and having to find myself all over again, living on my own has been the best thing I could have ever asked for. My friendships have never been stronger, and I’ve never felt more independent. I’ve always enjoyed being on my own and taking care of myself – but I never really realized just how much I really LOVED doing my own thing until recently. It’s going to be difficult for to me ever live with someone again, I like having my own space too much!
Besides that, there isn’t much to know! In regards to school: I wasn’t in university long, and I left school to work. Really and truly. There is nothing exciting about student loans and paying for school that you aren’t even sure you enjoy. I was really unhappy. So I made a change, and I’ve never looked back. I’ve never felt so sure about a decision. My current job allows me to pursue my passion for blogging as well as photography endlessly, and my end goal is to be a full time creative personality. One step at a time, but I am getting there!
This blog that I’ve created, The Bonafide Brunette, is going to become the digital version of my passions. For all the things I try, wear, eat, and do; you can follow along with it on here! This blog is not only a creative outlet for myself, but a place for women, or anyone really, to visit and maybe even learn or feel inspired from. I want to share my most real, unfiltered, experiences with everyone else in hopes that someone will learn something, or that I may even inspire someone to go outside their comfort zone and try something new. It will be the best thing you do, I promise. I hope to entice my readers and even spark new thoughts. What are your passions? What makes you wake up in the morning and hop out of bed, excited to start? I encourage everyone to share their thoughts with me as I share mine with them.

I hope whoever comes to visits enjoys all my ponderings, and finds a little something to take away. And hey, if you like what I have to say – feel free to subscribe, and stay updated on my posts!
