Skin care. It’s something we all obsess over.
I have been trying to get great skin since well… forever. Who hasn’t? Trial and error throughout the years has left me feeling defeated, if anything else. Well, I have finally found a moisturizer that works for my skin type. Like, ACTUALLY does good things for my skin. (I’ve also recently discovered a full routine for my face start-to-finish, more on that soon!) This moisturizer and the overnight mask are delicious and full of moisture. It absorbs right into the skin, and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized all day! A little goes a long way. Their entire line is also paraben free, and isn’t tested on animals. Bonus!
The price tag on the entire line is pretty fair for the quality and considering the price of some moisturizers I’ve tried.
Currently, I have the overnight water sleeping mask, and the water bank moisture cream. I got the mask and a few testers of the moisturizers in a boxed set while I was in Arizona on my most recent trip. I fell in love with the moisturizer almost right away, and rushed back to Sephora for the bigger jar! The overnight mask is really nice too, its super rich. I really like it for days when my skin is especially thirsty, mostly in the winters. Everything I have used so far smells great too, which is a big seller for me. If I hate the smell, I probably won’t use it! This whole line just smells like a nice, fresh lotion. There aren’t really any strong scents that stand out, which I personally really like.
For a little depth on my skin type, and why this line of moisturizers and masks has done so well for my skin, read on. I have combination skin, so it can get oily, but I am definitely on the drier side too. Some areas are dry, (my cheeks and eye-area), and some are oily (my t-zone area). My skin is also fairly sensitive. Moisturizers for oily skin don’t give me the moisture I need, which usually leads to dry, tight feeling skin and a breakout. However, some moisturizers for dry skin leave me feeling a little greasy. So I have always struggled to find one with a nice balance. This one seems to be the perfect fit!
