2018 has arrived!
Holy crap. It’s 2018. Where does the time go?! I am a little (okay, a lot) late on the whole “new year” post, but hey better late than never amiright? While most of us are totally okay leaving 2017 in the past, (it was filled with events and memes we don’t even want to speak of okay? let’s leave it at that.) I still can’t believe how quickly the New Year came. 2017 was full of really great things for me personally, and truthfully it was a pretty good year. It just wasn’t anything spectacular. I started my blog in 2017, so it can’t all be bad! Having said that, I am oddly okay with leaving 2017 behind and starting fresh this year. 2018 feels like THE year for everyone. The year where we accomplish goals, and do what makes us happy. I’ve already told a few of my girlfriends, 2018 is going to be the year we all do something really amazing. I hope that’s true for everyone!
In 2018, I am going to hold myself accountable.
Personally, I’d like to hold myself to this goal. (Hold myself to holding myself accountable, does that even make sense?). I’d like to plan to post regularly, and reach out further in the blogging community. I am very new to the entire thing, and I feel I have so much to learn. I’d also like to get my personal schedule back in order with food, the gym, and life in general. I feel like Christmas obliterated any sense of regularity, and I am ready to get back into a routine big time. I think goals are important for anyone to have in order to push ourselves, and grow. Realistic and attainable goals of course, but if it doesn’t push you out of your comfort zone, how can you obtain personal growth?
What are your New Year’s goals? What can you do to learn, grow, and improve yourself personally? Think about it, and then put it into action! Happy New Year!
